1. Platform Purpose & Scope

The Michigan Mudbowl Club Event Management System (EMS) is provided solely for tournament management, philanthropic fundraising coordination, player eligibility verification, and spectator information regarding the annual Michigan Mudbowl event.

2. Participant Liability & Digital Waiver vs. Event Communications

Participation in athletic activities, including touch football and mud volleyball, involves inherent physical risks. All participating student athletes must complete the mandatory digital athletic liability waiver and University MCard verification prior to competing on the tournament field.

By voluntarily joining a registered team or accepting a team captain role in the Michigan Mudbowl charitable fundraising tournament, you agree to receive official operational event notices (roster, waiver, MCard, and game-day safety instructions) and Michigan Mudbowl fundraising and community email updates (Mudbowl Pulse and Mudbowl Rally) under an opt-out-first policy (MMC_JOIN_DISCLOSURE_2026_V2). You may unsubscribe from promotional and fundraising email updates at any time via the one-click unsubscribe link in every email or the Communication Preferences Portal. Expanded individual photography or commercial media-release permissions remain strictly separate and require individual affirmative consent.

3. Conduct & Sportsmanship

All Greek chapters and individual participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship, collegiate respect, and community representation throughout the fundraising challenge and tournament competition.
