The 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Foundation
The Michigan Mudbowl Club (MMC) is a recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The MMC board oversees long-term governance, financial transparency, legal compliance, and the annual distribution of all philanthropic gifts to Michigan Medicine: C.S. Mott Children's Hospital (via the Charles Woodson Clinical Research Fund) and the Rogel Cancer Center.
Student Operational Arm
The MMC Student Organization is registered with the University of Michigan. Student leaders coordinate tournament logistics, field management, referee certification, digital liability waivers, and chapter communications across 36 participating Greek organizations.
Michigan Medicine Charitable Partnership
Every dollar raised through the Mudbowl goes directly to Michigan Medicine: pediatric clinical care and research through the Charles Woodson Clinical Research Fund at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital (Men's Mud Football) and breakthrough cancer research at Rogel Cancer Center (Women's Mud Volleyball).
